[Geographical area] In which geographical area do you operate?

In 2021, I created about forty websites. 99% of my clients were outside my region: Paris, Cannes, Pont-Aven, Narbonne, Reims, Aix-en-Provence, Amiens, Bordeaux, Biscarosse, Luxembourg, Switzerland, ... Whether you are from a small village or a large metropolis, the Internet allows us a great ease of exchange and the framework that I have put in place in my professional practice allows us to save time at each stage of the process.

[Delay] How long will it take to create my site?

Accepted Answer

Once you have accepted my quote and I have notified you of the receipt of your deposit, I block production slots in my calendar. It takes between 20 days on average between the payment of it and the presentation of your website.

I have too often won over clients who came from webmasters whose project had dragged on for five or six months or even... two years! For me, for the good realization of the project, it is just inconceivable! When I create a site, I have to soak up your universe, what you offer, the image you want to convey, the analysis I make of your competitors' sites and the best visual and editorial angle to seduce your potential targets.
 
Restaurants, artists, small and large businesses, traders, taxi companies, driving schools, surgeons, doctors, lawyers, sports coaches, my clients come from very varied backgrounds... Thus, it is important for me to compartmentalize my actions and, during the time of creation, to become a full member of your team over a well-defined period of time.

Obviously, the time of the realization also depends on the information that you will have sent me and if you have on your side prepared all the elements to be implemented. However, I see no problem in this delay being longer, after the first presentation of my work, if you need more time to analyze the site presented, review certain things quietly, prepare other texts and photos . I work tailor-made and always adapt to your pace.

[Maintenance] Que proposez-vous pour la maintenance de vos sites ?

Au regard des solutions techniques que j'utilise, il n'est pas obligatoire de souscrire auprès de moi un forfait de maintenance. En effet, une fois le site conçu, bien installé et livré, et bien que je garde un suivi du plus haut niveau en termes de réactivité et de qualité d'intervention, il n'est plus nécessaire que j'intervienne régulièrement dessus pour des mises  à jour de sécurité fréquentes comme sous WordPress par exemple ou autre ... L'éditeur du site est également vraiment intuitif et ergonomique, et je possède et vous transmets de nombreux tutos étape par étape vraiment bien faits pour vous aider éventuellement à réaliser certaines tâches. Ainsi, vous pouvez vous-même faire vivre votre site aisément.

Ainsi, le Web et les outils ayant évolué, être payé mensuellement parfois très cher alors qu'aucun travail "technique" (sauvegarde / back-up, mises-à-jour du CMS, ...) n'est effectué serait contraire à mes valeurs. J'ai la chance de vivre de ma passion pour la création de site internet et je trouve ça totalement injuste de faire payer les clients lorsque rien n'est fait. Qu'on soit rémunéré pour nos actions : c'est normal. Mais par éducation, si tout travail mérite salaire évidemment, du vent dans la maintenance n'en mérite pas.

Aussi, toujours dans l'idée de m'adapter le plus possible à chacun de mes clients, je propose tout de même des formules de maintenance (ou d'accompagnement) afin de répondre aux besoins que j'observe chez ceux-ci depuis longtemps.

Aide aux référencement, suivi des performances du site, utilisation des outils marketing, mise-à-jour du contenu, publication d'articles sur votre section blog, ... Autant d'actions que je peux réaliser pour vous tout au long de la vie de votre site.

[Maintenance budget] Is there an operating or updating budget to plan for the year?

No, everything is included in my initial quote.The renewal of your hosting and site security package will be done at n+1 then once a year, with no margin on my side. It generally costs €180/year for a showcase site and €369/year for a merchant site.

As you have probably understood by browsing my website, I am an extremely organized and conscientious person. Undoubtedly remnants of my education and my career as a school teacher during which I was headteacher for 4 years. I had over 250 children under my responsibility and a huge administrative work to do as you can imagine. I loved it and quickly realized that if you weren't very careful never to let yourself be overwhelmed, the task became dreadful.

Today, I am self-employed, managing an ever-growing business on my own, and the resources of my family (happy husband of a wonderful wife and father of two extraordinary two-year-old boys) depend on my work. . Also, the satisfaction of my customers and the economic benefits of their activity also depend on my actions: restaurateurs working on the wire, coach, charity association, online shops, construction companies, artists... Some time ago, in the middle of the second lockdown, and as more and more entrepreneurs from all walks of life turned to the internet, I was literally inundated with orders and calls. Extending my working days, no longer having weekends, no longer vacations...all of that doesn't bother me. But at the time of taking stock of productivity, I did some statistical point calculations to take a step back from the past period and try to optimize my productivity. So, two things here:
- you want to add a few lines or a text on a page of the site -> you send me a little email with the content and the exact location and I will do it to you during the day and this for free of course. For big changes, we redo an estimate but it's very rare...
- you will also have access to a very easy-to-use tool allowing you to add articles, texts, photos and videos to your "blog" or "news" or "articles" section... so you can work on your own site directly through your phone. You can also have access to the full site editor ... but sometimes it's better that I'm the only one to touch it. One word: adaptation.

[Accès] Ai-je accès à mon site internet et à son éditeur ?

Que les clients n'aient pas accès à leur site ou ne puissent pas y toucher comme ils le veulent alors qu'ils ont passé commande auprès de petites ou de grosses boites de com ... Une situation vraiment scandaleuse que je croise avec mes prospects bien trop souvent malheureusement. Cela me désole au plus haut point !

Mes créations sont là pour vous satisfaire, vous plaire et parler à votre audience. Mais elles sont avant tout ... votre propriété ! Vous avez payé, c'est votre contenu, votre univers ... c'est vous !

Il n'y a rien de pire que de ne pas être maître de sa vitrine en ligne, de son identité, des messages qu'on veut envoyer ... Là encore, même si je reste là si besoin mais surtout vous pouvez agir sans moi et aurez tous les accès et autorisations possibles. C'est votre site, votre produit !

J'ai toutes les semaines des clients qui reviennent d'agences fermées, de comptes verrouillés, de "grosses boîtes" qui ne veulent pas  leur donner les accès, même le nom de domaine parfois ... et que ce soit des clients indépendants ou de grosses entités qui font des millions en CA.

Avec moi, pas de problème : vous êtes maitre à bord !

Former fan of FrontPage, DreamWeaver, WordPress and co, I now work entirely in InDesign then with Wix Editor X and can thus produce more with high quality and a totally serene mind in the short, medium and long term while reducing the costs drastically. All my services are clear, my prices transparent and without surprises.

I worked for agencies where the same work was charged two to three times more expensive... Today, I am completely independent, I work for artists and entrepreneurs from all walks of life, live very well from my passion ... in short, only happiness!

My method, which I seek to refine and optimize every day, allows me to save time at each stage so that every second of work used is for a single objective: the creation of the best website for your activity, your services and/or or your products!

Also, I know that some webmasters do not take "expensive" at the beginning of the project to catch up on monthly packages which greatly increase the bill over the years. You have all the rights to your site. I don't keep any. I create it but it is up to you if you then want to sell it or something else later.It will be hosted at Wix (with whom I now have Legend Partner status, which gives me and my clients enormous advantages over the general public offer, for example) and maintained at their location. Even if one day you stop paying for the hosting plan, it will remain saved. Afterwards, if you ever want to change host one day, nothing prevents you from having it duplicated elsewhere... But you will be very satisfied with the service, I assure you.
